What’s new on the Switch online store – Film Daily

Switch console fans have been waiting for over a year for another Nintendo Direct – a video announcement from Nintendo showcasing all the exciting new things to come. This week fans learned that there was a new Direct on the way and people got excited wondering what fantastic news they were getting – Breath of the Wild 2 the news was an expectation for many.

However, fans left the nearly hour-long video ad feeling disappointed when they didn’t get the ads they were looking for.

That doesn’t mean there weren’t many games announced for the Switch online store this year, though – here’s what you can expect to play on your Switch soon.

The headlines

fall guys

That’s right, the popular fantasy battle royale is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch online store. PlayStation and PC players will no longer have exclusive rights to the game. Anyone can play fall guys on Switch this summer.

Outdoor savages

The action-adventure game 2019 Outdoor savages will also arrive on Switch this summer. This game is loved for its winding plot that leaves players guessing, so we won’t tell you too much. If you haven’t played it before, you’re in for a treat.

Famicom Detective Club

Two Famicom Detective Club games are coming to Nintendo Switch on May 14. The missing heir and The girl standing behind these games are both set in Japan, but have been translated for an English-speaking audience.

Samurai warriors 5

If you are a big fan of Samurai warriors franchise so get ready to rejoice. The fifth installment of the game will be available for purchase from the online store this summer. Not much else has been announced about the game, so more details are likely in the works.

Legend of Mana

Legend of Mana is a twenty year old game. Originally made for the PlayStation, the RPG game has been remastered and will arrive on Switch on June 24 and will contain a new soundtrack and new features (although you can choose not to use either. ).

Mario Golf Super Rush

Need more Mario in your life, but don’t want to play a platform game? Mario golf is exactly what you are looking for. With a campaign story mode, the ability to play with your own mii, and a fast paced golf mode, it’s a cute and lightweight game. You can find the game in the e-shop on June 25, but it can be pre-ordered for those interested.

Tales from border countries

The Borders The games are a popular franchise of the Western space, and if you wanted to play them on the go, you won’t be able to play any of the shooters, but the Telltale game is coming to the Nintendo Switch e-store on March 24.

Apex Legends

The popular free battle royale game Apex Legends will be playable on Switch starting March 9.

The Legend of Zelda: Sky Sword

This beloved The Legend of Zelda The game received an HD remaster and reworked motion controls for Switch, Switch Lite, and Switch Pro. Nintendo will even be releasing special edition Joy-Con controllers inspired by the Hylian Shield & Master Sword to celebrate the game.

Splatoon 3

Coming in 2022, the description reads: “In the wake of chaos, step into the sun-scorched Splatlands and new town, Splatsville, home to seasoned Inklings and Octolings. New weapons, moves and more await, so be sure to keep an eye out for updates in the future.

Miitopia

This beloved RPG game for 3DS is coming to Nintendo Switch. Just like the original, you can design your Miis and send them on a fun adventure. You can buy on May 21. (Pre-order now)

Underworld

A physical version of this critically acclaimed game will be released for Nintendo Switch on March 19. You can currently get a digital copy of the game from the Nintendo Switch online store!

Various other titles

Triangle Strategy Project (working title)

This RPG game is still in the works and could well be renamed – release sometime in 2022, but the demo is already available for free.
